On Friday 1st of July 2011, the winners of the 1st edition of the A'Design Award and Competition were awarded. The winning designers from all over the world attended the gala night at the historical Villa Gallia, on the shores of the Como Lake. The conpetition's patrons - city of Como, the BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations) and the design Faculty of the Politecnico of Milan - were acknowledged in the opening speech, by the event founder Onur Mustak Cobanli. He and his team awarded 69 winners out of 1493 participants in 23 categories (interior design, toys design, architecture, fashion and jewellery)...Journalists, professionals, designers and officials partipated to the gala night.The mission of the A' Award and Competition is to become a meeting point for creative from all fields , companies and media to showcase their success and talents. The competition's objectif is to provide a open platform for all areas in design and architecture. The competition is opened to all professionals, students and creatives who want to challenge themselves and reveal their talent. The 2011-2012 edition is opened.
