The Second Exhibition of a Design Award This Year Was Made in India During The Product Design Days

A (Prime) Design Award had previously exhibited the winners in a great exhibition in Italy, however this time the posters exhibition was ported to India and showcased to design enthusiasts and buyers at Product Design Days at Chennai - India. The PDD event was especially chosen because it attracted business people, managers and company founders who are not just involved in design but were eager to purchase or commission design services; thus creating opportunities for our winners.A Design Award joined the Product Design Days with a very large booth to help communicate winners to Product Design Days enterprise visitors who wished to acquire design services. At the booth, A Design Award representatives directed the award winners to manufacturers who were making inquiries about the award winning designers that they picked in the exhibition.During the event, we also had chance to meet some of our winners who showed-up at the event. In addition to the booth which was used for matchmaking award winners and inquiring companies, A Design Award also had a very large exhibition at the Product Design Days event. Winners of 2011-2012 A (Prime) Design Award were exhibited to the PDD audience.The Exhibition at Product Design Days was provided free of charge to all winners, including the printing and transportation of posters of the exhibition. This was the second exhibition this year that was made free for A Design Award winners, the first exhibition was made in July, in Italy.The A Design Award exhibition during the Product Design Days in Chennai attracted many visitors, both the design enthusiasts, local Indian Press, and also manufactures who wished to inquire more about the award winning designs and products. The Product Design Days exhibition was a great opportunity for us to present the A Design Award winners to the dynamic Indian audience. The PDD audience not only included manufacturers who were looking for design companies, but also distributors who were looking for good design products to sell in their high-end stores.The Exhibition attracted several thousand people, creating an added layer of visibility and spread for A Design Award winners. We especially like to thank Product Design Days for giving us an opportunity to showcase our winners once again, this time at another continent to a dynamic and growing population of India, and South Asia.Among the exhibited designs, especially packaging designs and furniture projects gained highly interest of producers and manufacturers. This was followed by other categories, such as jewelry design, yachts, technical projects and others.
